The best thing about the prowler is the speed plus stability. I don't like the wet ride and the underwater center hatch. If you buy one see ask Jonny Ceviche how he out an 8" hatch in a 5" port. This is how he over came the prowler design flaw. Did I mention it's an extremely wet ride? Did you try the Mailbu eXtreme? I purchased this yak over the Prowler.

: I had a chance to paddle the new Ocean Kayak Prowler last night and was very imnpressed.The boat was designed with the angler in mind and I plan on picking one up next week.16' long with fantastic stability. The angler version has two rod holders with tons of storage space and a good sized cockpit.Has anyone else tried one out yet?
