Also, (this usually works best at night or early morning) cast out iron mans, and reel them in fast. This seems to catch alot. Plus, i have learned that the best bait for catching mackerel is cut up mackeral on a sabki or on a single hook(a hook a little smaller than 1/0). Fresh mackerel is the best.
