I was out in CA and stopped in the to check out both yaks in Malibu...I am 6' and 250 lbs...i fell in love with the ProExplorer...with my weight I found the Ex tracked so well it seemwd as if it was on rails...the Pro can be turned even with my big A... I like the higher freeboars of the Pro and I liked the idea of sitting sideways and fishing in comfort....being in NJ i bought the Grizzly wet suit and wear a nylon top and PFD collar...love the yak and can't wait for the ice to melt on round valley and spruce run....may try raritan bay tihis year and intend to carry the yak on my 32' sailboat this summer...will hoist in up with a block on the boom...can't wait for the summer!!!!!....where in NJ are you located????regards, frank
