Jason, Friends, Volunteers and Family,

Thanks for an extremely well run tournament. The location, fishing, weigh boat, BBQ, prizes, shirts, post-tourney discussions--all super. Hope you repeat it next year. Doheny SB area and Dana Pont are beautiful spots.

Thanks also to the sponsors for the awesome prizes. The raffle prize of 2630 yards of Maxima line at about $55 more than paid for the trip. The C&R Bass Division first place FND with paddle, seat, and knee straps, from UP Sports certainly topped off several days of planning and a beautiful, but strenuous, day on the water.

While I've placed in a few tourneys, this was my first 1st place finish, which was even sweeter since it was Dana Points' first yak tourney, with yakfishers from LA to DP to San Diego. The best part was the catch and release of the Freight Train, I mean the 11.4 pound calico bass, from the kayak. Hope to meet her next year.

Heck of a day.
