: : I don't see to many, so when I catch one, I'm stoked. Bill got a great picture of it before letting her go. Love the colors and markings.

: RE: jas just wondering what kind of camera bill has, great pic, and what did you bait with?
I was using a couple of hand tied shrimp flies rigged onto a double dropper loop (short leaders), to a swivel clasp and 4 oz torpedo. I attach thin even strips of squid to complete the attractant. I sometimes use one fly as an attractor and one hook size 1 hook w/ 3 thin strips of squid for flutter affect. You can catch flatties on this rig when you drift over a reef and enter the sandy zones. I wouldn't target flatties like this, but I have had my fair share of lucky hooksups with that rig.
The water was really mucky today. I didn't have much luck tossing the plastic, but then I didn't really work the plastics hard today. Just wanted to see what that reef had to say.
Caught over 20 fish today between 7-10:30. All fish were released.
I
forgot to ask the make. I'm curious too. Great quality. What I do know is that
it was a digital water proof. I think a super high quality digital camera w/ a hard
watertight shell. Sweet setup though. I'll ask Bill.
