Fished before work today, 5:30AM launch. Made bait and worked my way west, 1 mac out and a Hydromag. Water was fairly clean, but very green. Wind died down to almost nothing after sun up, very weak current. I was soaking a bait while I tossed the Iron at the kelp edge 1/4 mile off the point. Got bit on the mac in the holder, at color I readied the gaff, but at the surface I decided to lip it and measure. 29" my 1st legal WSB this year. Found his belly plugged with Red Crab. T Shark's next on my list.
