Newbie's first post here, & a question.

Hi all,
I haven't had a chance to read too many of the previous posts here, but it seems this group focuses primarily on Califorina/Pacific fishing. Is that true, or do I need to dig deeper? I'm sure there's lots of good knowledge for me here on equipment, techniques, etc. I do not yet have a kayak, but am a dedicated light-tackle salt-water fisher who's very interested in a kayak as a fishing boat. I'm waaaay over here on the right coast (think east central florida, mosquito lagoon, indian river, etc.), & am wondering if I should seek out a different but similar group. thanks in advance, y'all,
