trolling motor for pro 2 tandem help

Im just wondering if you guys would know what kind of trolling motor should I purchase for my pro 2 tandem. I was looking into a minn kota endura 20 which has 30lb of thrust. Is that to much can I purchase 20-25lb's. Also How big is the battery. Is it similar to a car battery or one of those small 12v batteries.
