I Launched at the pier for the first time. Saw Jas, Lou-dog, Dr. Gill and Rhino with a client. Very slow out there! Couldn’t even find bait. Finally a bunch of suicidal 6” bonita started attacking my baitrig 4 at a time, then a nice barracuda slammed my rapala and let go at the boat. Nothing but a whole mess of little sharks after that.
I’m going to go look at the surf size at Westward tomorrow at about 6:45 near the gate. If it looks do-able I’ll wait for the gate keeper and go get some rock fish. If it looks harsh I’ll drive over to Escondido. Company welcome!
