I have been using this kayak for my larger clients, and the big boys like the Drifter. Needs a set of scupper plugs and a throw cussion PFD under the seat to keep the cockpit dry and your arse out of the puddle. The XT will work, but for a guy your size I would recommend trying the Drifter. Good luck choosing, TL Rhino
