Rod holder

Hey Jas,
I was looking at the photos section of the site and noticed in a photo of you in your Pro Explorer that you have a Scotty type rod holder mounted near your fish finder in front of you. I would like to have one on my Pro Explorer also. I have a few questions. 1. What kind of rod holder is it? 2. If I mount one on the ridge that runs in between the foot wells will it sit up high enough so the butt of the rod won't interfear with my legs and or feet. I was looking at the Cabela's catalog, and they sell an extention that raises the rod holder up 6". Would that be neccesary for this kind of setup? It looks like the way to go for drifting. I figure if it is out of the way when paddeling it might also work for slow trolling as well. What are your reccomendations?
