Cobra Kayak blemish; is this normal?

Just bought a new yellow Cobra Kayak Tourer w/all hatches. While looking inside, I noticed some yellow plastic shreds, presumably from the manufacturing process. Then I noticed a blemish on the inside of the hull.

It's about the size of a nickel. It's not smooth like the rest of the hull; it's like a swirl of fine whitish fibers. From outside, if you look at it in the sun, you can see a dark circle.

Now, is this a normal artifact of the manufacturing process? Or did I buy a lemon? Is this blemish a weak spot that will eventually be a leak?
