Cobra has a life time warrentee. If it doesn't leak or seem to be very soft or spongey, I wouldn't worry about it. It may be some of the sealant that was used to seal the hatches and dripped down on the inside of the hull. The Yellow plastic shreds are probably from the hatch installation process. They normally use a jig saw to cut out the hatch openings and this creates a lot of shavings. Did you buy a Blem or a full price kayak. Blems (I have two) are fine but have some minor imperfections. If you have any questions take it back to the dealer and ask him. He should be able to answer your questions.
