Buckets and crates are too small some the time.
slide behind your market or drugstore and look at some of the 12?x20? crates that ship small items in.
take it home and see if it fits then cut the sides to the height that you want. Drill a couple of holes to run the bungi cords thru depending on your set up.
I put some extra pad eyes in and bungie mine in on the back hatch of my 160 tarpon.
On my caman I left the tank well straps to use to level the crate on the front of the tw. and use extra pad eyes to hold the bungi cords.
