Fly lining with a swivel?

This guy I think his handle is Art What! recommends using a swivel when fly lining a mack.

I think this is a great idea, because many times in the past I’ve had a mack twist my line up to the point were I had to cut several feet off.

Can anybody come up with a reason why not to use a snap swivel when fly lining large bait fish like mackerel?
