Question: When you fish the grunion at Dog Beach are you fishing the river outlet or actually casting in the surf? Do the grunion ever run up into the river mouth?
I live in LA County. Unfortunately, as far as I know, all of our beaches close at 10pm. We tried it once at Leo Carillo but were kicked off the beach.
Anyone know of a place within LA County where we can be on the beach past 10pm? I'd love to do some grunion/flatty fishing.
