Ted, ya should've let me know...I left early from Hermosa so I could buy my $1 per pound of lead from BigFish Bait & Tackle!!...right there down the street from the Malibu Kayaks Seal Beach store!! or did you pick it up the Malibu Kayak in Malibu?
If anyone is interested the sale goes on until tomorrow I believe (call). I bought a bunch of 5oz - 1lb halibut balls, all the torpedos were gone.

: I had to wait for the Mailbu shop to open before I could pick up my new Pro Explorer. I went early with my 6lb perch set up with pumpkin seed grubs carolina style and scored two 8" BSP, one Walleye and one 9" Halibut. Everytime a catch a halibut they get smaller! LOL! All fish released.The surf was a grinder. I had to cut and re-tie the main every 30 minutes. I've never seen the main get shredded like that.I blew out a back muscle in a sack race with my daughter at the park, so I can't even go in the garage and enjoy the the new yak. I am going to MDR tomorrow. If I feel okay I'll bring the new kayak. Otherwise we'll be towing the CD 14 at 5 knots off the sailboat. That means bis baracudas.-Ted
