Fishing Other San Diego Beaches?

Is there any reason to fish other San Diego Beaches? Other Than La Jolla, or Pt. Loma? Is Imperial Beach, Torrey Pines, Del Mar, Cardiff, etc. worth fishing? Can you launch at any of these places? What kinds of fish can you expect to catch there? BTW, I know La Jolla is the best, just curious about other possibilities...
