Come join the fun once again for this years Annual Kayak Sportfishing Tournament. Based out of Doheny State Beach, Dana Point, CA, this exciting dual division kayak fishing event offers something for the competitive bass angler as well as the sport fisherman. Some kayak anglers forte is finesse fishing with artificial lures for bass. Others might prefer hunting for big game with whatever means possible. The Annual Kayak Sportfishing Tournament has a dedicated division for each of these distinctly different styles. | |||||

The entry fee is only $30 per angler if registered prior to Monday March 6th, $40 if you register on the day of the event. The event is limited to 200 entrants. Be sure to sign up early to secure your spot. Anglers have the option of entering either the Big Fish or the Catch and Release Bass division (not both). The first place winners of the Big Fish and Catch & Release Bass division will each be awarded a grand prize kayak package. There will also be quality prize placement for 2nd through 7th place in both divisions. Tournament participants also receive a free gift bag, tournament shirt, raffle and barbeque ticket included with each paid entry. If you haven't been to Dana Point you'll be pleasantly surprised by its easy access, majestic coastline, facilities and quality sport fishing it has to offer. There are several reef systems, sand flats and kelp beds that hold a large variety of game fish. Doheny State Beach has a number of reservable areas, accommodating everything from small functions to large gatherings up to several hundred people. Beach camping is also available by reservation for those coming in from out of town or just wanting to make a weekend of it. The camp sites fill up fast at Doheny so be sure to make your reservations well in advance. To receive additional tournament information or to have a registration form mailed to you, please contact:
